THOUGHT
FIELD THERAPYThought Field Therapy, or TFT,
is a revolutionary, safe, non-invasive brief therapy technique that has been
developed and refined over the last twenty years by California Psychologist,
Dr. Roger Callahan. In Thought Field Therapy, the client is asked to think
about a specific issue that is troublesome. This is commonly an anxiety, a
phobia, past trauma, loss, grief, or feelings of anger, depression or
physical pain. The TFT treatment consist of stimulation (tapping) of a
precise sequence of meridian points on the body, which are the points of
what are more commonly known as the acupuncture meridians.
But simply, TFT treatments work
like opening a combination lock. You may well know all of the numbers, but
if you don't apply them in the correct order, the lock won't open. Thought
Field Therapy diagnostic procedures not only reveal the correct code, but
also the application sequence required for successful treatment. TFT is a
very rapid method of treating psychological problems typically requiring
only a matter of minutes to effect change, which usually endures.
A full TFT treatment normally
has a duration of 60 to 90 minutes.
Depending of the issue addressed, one to three sessions are required for the
most commonly known psychological and emotional problems.
No other treatment
presently available, conventional, complementary or alternative can
claim the same success, speed and completeness.
Thought field therapy is a natural,
drug-free approach with rapid results that can be documented with heart rate
variability measurements.

Roger J. Callahan, PhD,
Founder

Roger J. Callahan, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist. A graduate of
the University of Michigan, he received his Ph.D. in clinical
psychology from Syracuse University. Dr. Callahan is author of It

Dr. Callahan has demonstrated the Callahan Techniques®
Thought Field Therapy on Radio and Television shows all over the
country including Good Morning America, Cable Network
News(CNN) and Evening Magazine, Regis Philbin, Tom
Snyder, LEEZA, Jenny Jones, and Regis and Kelly as well
as many others. Phil Donahue devoted an entire program to Dr.
Callahan and his work on "amouraphobia".
Currently licensed in New York and California, Dr. Callahan
heads the Thought Field Therapy Training Center in La Quinta,
California (a Palm Springs community). The TFT Training Center
conducts trainings in Callahan Techniques® TFT and publishes a
quarterly newsletter, The Thought Field. Dr.
Callahan is Chairman of the Board for the professional organization Association
for Thought Field Therapy.

Field Therapy (TFT) is a highly effective adjuvant and complementary
approach to medical and psychological health practices. Some TFT
work may require approval from a licensed physician or psychologist.
TFT is never intended to replace medical treatment or severe
psychological treatment. It can be regarded, by its emphasis on the
use of internal resources for therapy, as a non-medical therapy
